Welcome
Hi, I’m Gwen Fonarow. I’m glad you’re here.
For more than 30 years, I’ve led inside complex organizations, including Fortune 100 companies, startups, and growth businesses. I’ve spent more than a decade in the C-suite, much of that in environments where expectations were high, change was constant, and success required creativity, resilience, and resourcefulness.
I’ve navigated rapid growth, high-stakes decision making, and the pressure to perform. I understand the weight of senior leadership, including the responsibility, the visibility, and the isolation that comes with it.
Early in my career, I focused on performance and achievement. I pushed hard. Late nights, weekends, constantly working to keep up with the pace my role demanded. And I achieved a great deal.
But over time, I realized that achievement alone wasn’t creating the experience I wanted. The success was there, but it didn’t feel as meaningful or sustainable as I expected.
That realization led me to approach my leadership differently. I deepened my self-awareness and became more intentional about how I showed up.
And something shifted.
My performance improved, and I felt more grounded, more confident, and clearer in my decisions, without the same level of stress. I began to enjoy both my work and my life in a deeper way.
Over time, I built a career I’m proud of and a life I genuinely enjoy.
Today, I help founders and senior leaders create that same shift. This work is about strengthening how you lead by focusing on both the internal shifts and the practical actions that shape how you operate day to day.
It builds self-awareness, strengthens self-trust, and improves how you make decisions and show up as a leader over time.
With the right support, honest reflection, and a willingness to approach leadership differently, small but meaningful changes can lead to lasting impact.
You can perform at a high level and have a career and life you love.
What I believe
Mindset is the foundation for everything else
When mindset is strong, leaders act with confidence, energy, and courage. Without it, even highly capable leaders can struggle to consistently meet their goals.
Sustainable leadership is grounded in alignment
When you operate in alignment with who you are and what matters most, work becomes more focused, meaningful, and energizing.
Intentional action creates confidence and momentum
Insight only matters if it leads to action. Taking practical, courageous steps is required to strengthen your leadership capacity. This is where growth becomes real and lasting.
